Parkersburg, West Virginia

We finally made it to Parkersburg, and let me tell you folks - West Virginia was not short, and it was not flat. While in The Mountain State we saw the seasons, people, and landscape change from what they were back East. The people were especially generous and friendly, as we were warmly welcomed not only at our couchsurfing stops, but by nearly everyone we met (a few rough-and-tumble bartenders excepted).
